The Wandering Bard Plays

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to ‘The Wandering Bard Plays’, a Let’s Play Blog charting my first foray into a solo table-top RPG – specifically Tim Hutchings ‘1000 Year Old Vampire’.

Come in, have a look around, hopefully stay for the ride! I’ll be playing the game in the full journaling mode, with the aspiration of one entry per week as a minimum (maybe more, time permitting), no set post length, just whatever feels right to tell that particularly part of the story.

All feedback, comments and constructive criticism welcome, as indeed is general chat – just use any of the buttons in the header to get in touch.

Now let’s go sink our teeth into this…

The days following my miraculous reawakening have been no less revelatory in nature than that first moment of consciousness after what I presumed was certain death. As I record them now I am still struck by a sense of astonishment and revulsion.  Had I not lived them myself, I do not think I would truly have believed them to have taken place!  For it was during these few monstrous days that the true nature of my new self was revealed to me in all its shocking majesty, and the path I now walk laid out bare before me…
